Audio Challenge.
This animation came from a challenge I set myself: find a random audio clip I liked and reimagine it in a completely different context. The original clip featured a woman rummaging through her seemingly endless bag while being interviewed on the street. I decided to flip the setting entirely—turning her into a cavewoman digging through her belongings. The contrast between the modern names she uses and the prehistoric versions of the items she pulls out added a fun, comedic twist.
For the laughter in the background, I used cutout hyenas to visually represent the sound. I made them from cardboard with split pins to create moving silhouettes, which was a way for me to experiment with different stop motion techniques in a short time.
Some clips were unfortunately distorted on my USB, so it’s not fully finished—like the part where the apple keeps jumping in and out of frame—but I’m still really happy with how it turned out. Every experience is a learning opportunity.
